Overview
We are seeking a skilled Brick Mason to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in masonry and construction, with the ability to read blueprints and schematics. This role involves working on various projects including new builds, renovations, and restorations. The Brick Mason will be responsible for laying bricks, blocks, and stones to create structures that are both functional and aesthetically pleasing.
Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project specifications
- Lay bricks, blocks, and stones according to design specifications
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and finishing materials
- Perform caulking and sealing tasks as needed to ensure durability and weather resistance
- Operate heavy equipment safely when required for transporting materials or site preparation
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project timelines are met
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
- Assist in renovation and restoration projects by repairing existing brickwork or structures
Qualifications
- Proven experience in masonry or a related construction field
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment
- Strong understanding of construction practices, masonry techniques, and building codes
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
- Experience in renovation and restoration projects is a plus
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship
- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials as needed
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment

Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour
