Overview
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a business acumen and intuition for capturing, structuring and maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing essential support in various accounting functions and reporting. This position reports directly to the General Manager and/or his designates.
Extensive experience and proficiency with Quickbooks and Excel is a must. This role is crucial for the smooth operation of our financial processes and will involve working closely with other departments to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
Responsibilities
- Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable processes to ensure timely inputting of expenses and issuing of invoices and payments.
- Track, file, submit and pay all required taxes
- Identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
- Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial records.
- Prepare budgets and assist in financial forecasting to support business planning.
- Conduct account analysis and generate various management level reports as required. Including but not limited to P&L, commissions and cash flow reports.
- Maintain organized financial data for easy retrieval and audit purposes.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, demonstrating strong accounting and analytical skills.
- Extensive experience and proficiency with Quickbooks and Excel is a must
- Solid understanding of budget forecasting, commission report analysis, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliation.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform data analysis effectively.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all financial reporting.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

Pay: $55,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
