Serenity Transfer Service Ltd. is seeking body removal attendants for the Salmon Arm area!
This position is for a casual on-call basis and while hours are not guaranteed, this job is an excellent way to build experience with government entities, emergency services, and the medical field!
Serenity Transfer requires that any interested parties understand the need for and maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism as the nature of our work is extremely sensitive. Schedule:
We are currently looking to fill the following positions:
Day shift - 5 am to 5 pm daily.
Evening - 4pm to 11pm
Night Shift - 11pm - 6am
Requirements for the Job:
Our company has a responsibility to respond to calls 24/7, 365 days a year. Because of this, we require attendants with the ability to respond to calls with urgency and be available for short notice work. Answering your phone and being available when on-call is of the utmost importance!
- Submission of a clean criminal record check.
- Maintain a calm and quiet disposition on worksites, managing a “seen and not heard” style of etiquette.
- Full Class 5 Drivers license, we cannot accept "N"
- Must be comfortable lifting and carrying up to 150lbs (Lift Test Required prior to hiring).
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Comfortable working and driving in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate customer service to families during sensitive situations.
- Safely transport deceased individuals using appropriate equipment and vehicles.
- Communicate effectively with team members and other professionals involved in the process.
- Perform heavy lifting and maneuvering as required while adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain a valid Class 5 Licence and ensure all driving responsibilities are met.
