Specific Skills
Hammer out dents, buckles and defects using blocks and hammers; File, grind and sand body surfaces to be repaired; Apply primers and repaint surfaces; Mask and tape auto body surfaces in preparation for painting; Mix paint, blend and match colors
Experience & Skills
- High speed polishing & touch up paint experience is desired, but not essential * Attention to detail, takes pride in the quality of their work * Strong time management skills * Flexible to changing schedules and deadlines * Ability to follow directions
Other Responsibilities
- Ensure that all cleanup operations are performed to the highest quality standards and on a timely basis.
- Maintain the work area clean, organized, and in an orderly manner.
- Wash, wax, and buff the vehicle, clean interior, and exterior windows.
- Vacuum and scrub interior of a vehicle using appropriate cleaning agents, applicators, and cleaning devices.
- Operate all tools in a safe manner.
- Perform general maintenance and other tasks as requested by management.
- Other duties, projects, etc. as requested by management.

Summary
As a Licensed Automotive Body Technician, you will be responsible for performing high-quality repairs and maintenance on vehicles, ensuring they meet safety and aesthetic standards. Reporting to the shop manager, you will utilize your mechanical knowledge and expertise with hand and power tools to diagnose and fix automotive issues. Your experience in automotive repair, along with any dealership experience, will enhance your ability to deliver exceptional service. A high school diploma or GED is required, and strong time management skills will be essential in this fast-paced environment.
