Summary
We are seeking to add an experienced labour and employment civil litigation lawyer to our team. This is a full-time position, and the preferred candidate will have 1 to 3 years experience working in the civil litigation (employment law) area. The chosen candidate will enjoy working with a tight-knit group of individuals in a team-focused environment and have a license to practice law in British Columbia.
Responsibilities and Requirements
The successful candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, research, drafting and writing skills, and be prepared to step into active cases before the Courts and the B.C. Human Rights Tribunal
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active member of the bar association in good standing.
- Proven experience in litigation with a strong understanding of court procedures.
- Excellent legal drafting skills with attention to detail.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to advocate effectively for clients.
