Asphalt Paving Personnel
Holloway Paving Ltd. is looking for experienced asphalt paving personnel to join our team for the remainder of the 2025 season. We are looking to fill several positions offering competitive wages and a positive work environment.
Positions available are:
- Lead Hand/ Foreman (minimum 3 years of experience in asphalt paving)
- Paver Operator ( minimum 3 years of experience)
- Screed Operator (minimum 2 years of experience)
- Raker (minimum 2 years of experience)
- Roller Operator (minimum 2 years of experience)
As an experienced candidate, you will have:
- 3 - 5 years of experience
- thorough understanding of asphalt paving such as prep work, grades, drainage, paving patterns and best practices.
- willingness to adhere to Holloway Paving's standards and methods including professional conduct and health and safety policies.
- high quality of workmanship
- willingness to work on site preparation days.
- willingness to travel and work away from home when required.
- willingness to work overtime and weekends as required.
- a strong work ethic with professional conduct.
- excellent communication, sound judgment and ability to work well with other crew members along with supervisors, management and contractors
- ability to do manual labour including shovelling, raking, saw cutting, plate tamping, shovelling, barricade placement, operating small power tools, etc.
- physical stamina and preparedness for hot outdoor temperatures
- Clean Class 5 Driver’s License and your own transportation to meet at the yard/ sites
- CSA Steel Toed Boots
- adherence to our zero tolerance alcohol and drug policy
These positions are physically demanding and require crouching, bending, lifting and kneeling.
Hourly rate will be determined by position and experience.
