Job Description
We are currently hiring a Paver Operator with experience in operating asphalt paving machines for residential, commercial, and municipal projects. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, and takes pride in delivering clean, level finishes.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate asphalt paver to spread, level, and smooth hot mix asphalt
- Coordinate with dump truck drivers and crew members for efficient paving
- Monitor material distribution and thickness
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Ensure quality control and compliance with site specifications
- Follow all health and safety procedures
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a paver operator
- Strong knowledge of paving equipment and techniques
- Ability to read grade stakes and layout markings
- Physically fit and able to work in outdoor environments and varying weather conditions
- Valid driver’s license (DZ or AZ is an asset)
- Ability to work as part of a team and take direction from supervisors
