We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Carpenter Apprentice to join our team. As a Carpenter Apprentice, you will work alongside skilled carpenters, learning the trade and assisting with various tasks on construction sites. Responsibilities
- Assist in the construction, installation, and repair of structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard.
- Help with framing carpentry, foundations, and exterior work
- Learn to read blueprints and schematics to understand project specifications.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Support rebar installation and metal stud framing as needed.
- Perform heavy lifting as required for various construction activities.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety on the job site.
Skills
- Basic understanding of construction principles and practices.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and safety equipment.
- Knowledge of construction estimating techniques is a plus.
- Experience with framing and foundation work
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively.
- Previous experience on construction sites or in the restoration industry is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.
