Petro-Line is looking for a Detailing Painter/ Shop laborer to join our team.
Petro-Line is involved in the construction, maintenance, and upgrading of pipelines and facilities in the oil and gas industry. Petro-Line manufactures the PETROSLEEVE in our 6000 square foot fabrication facility and installs them on pipeline across Canada.
Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Painter/Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a sharp eye for attention to detail and take pride in their work. Experience in various painting techniques and construction environments is a great skill to hold. This role involves working on our specialised PETROSLEEVE product ensuring high-quality finishes while adhering to safety standards. The Painter/Laborer will collaborate with other team members and work strongly as an individual to deliver exceptional results.
Responsibilities
- Spray paint manufactured products
- Load, unload, and lift equipment, supplies, and product
- Engage in all forms of labour to assist in the successful completion of fabrication, construction, and installation projects from start to finish
- Shipping and Receiving
- May perform other related duties as assigned Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and materials are stored properly.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure project goals are met on time.
Requirements/Skills & Qualifications
- Must be able to successfully complete pre-employment drug testing
- Hold Class 5 Drivers License are an asset (GDL removed)
- Hold valid certification CSTS 09, First Aid, H2S, WHMIS 2015 - preferred
- Must be able to do physical labour which includes repetitive tasks including heavy lifting
- Must be available for work 7 days a week as required
- Sharp attention to detail
