Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Appliance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in appliance repair, electrical systems, and mechanical knowledge. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various household appliances while providing exceptional customer service. The Appliance Repair Technician will work independently and collaboratively to ensure customer satisfaction and the efficient operation of appliances.
Duties
- Diagnose and repair a wide range of household appliances including refrigerators, washers, dryers, stoves, ovens, and dishwashers.
- Utilize electrical experience to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively.
- Read and interpret schematics to understand appliance functions and identify problems.
- Perform mechanical repairs and maintenance on appliances as needed.
- Assemble new appliances according to manufacturer specifications.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients about repairs and maintenance procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used during repairs.
- Stay updated on the latest appliance technologies and repair techniques.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in appliance repair or a related field is preferred.
- Strong electrical experience with the ability to troubleshoot electrical components effectively.
- Mechanical knowledge is essential for understanding how appliances operate.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Ability to read schematics and technical manuals for various appliances.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.75-$41.57 per hour
