THE ROLE


Under the supervision of the Aquatics Coordinator, the Aerobics Instructor plans, organizes and delivers aerobics (aqua fitness) classes. They demonstrate and instruct aerobics (aqua fitness) activities and techniques.


QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED


Education, Certifications and Licenses

High school diploma and some years experience conducting aqua fitness classes

Fitness Leaders Certification – Aqua fitness module

Current CPR and Basic First Aid qualifications

Experience

In planning, organizing, and delivering aqua fitness classes

In monitoring and controlling large groups of participants

In ensuring safety protocols and procedures

Competencies

Client focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork and leadership.



LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS


English Essential / Bilingual (English and French) an asset

Oral: Functional
