**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a First Aid Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about educating others on first aid techniques and emergency response procedures. We are looking for someone who has a current Red Cross Instructor Certification or someone willing to be trained as a Canadian Red Cross Instructor. We will cover the tuition and books of the four day Instructor Training course. If you have an education degree, are an educator with another First Aid Training facility, or have present/past Red Cross Swimming Instructor status the Instructor course will only be two days in duration. We have a Canadian Red Cross First Aid Instructor course booked for Sept 9-12, 2024.
**Duties:**
- Deliver engaging first aid training courses to individuals and groups.
- Utilize effective teaching methods to engage participants and ensure understanding of course material.
- Demonstrate proper first aid techniques and procedures in a clear and concise manner.
- Provide constructive feedback to participants to enhance their learning experience.
- Maintain accurate records of course attendance, participant progress, and certification status.
**Experience:**
The successful candidate should possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Strong public speaking and communication skills.
- Ability to effectively educate and engage diverse audiences.
- Certification in first aid, CPR, and other relevant certifications (can be obtained upon hiring)
- Proficiency in classroom management techniques.
