We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office by providing essential administrative support. This position requires excellent organizational skills, a strong customer service orientation, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Duties
- Perform general office duties including scheduling, payment collection, and managing correspondence with patients.
- Answer phone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate personnel while maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Greet visitors at the front desk and provide exceptional customer service.
- Assist in scheduling appointments and managing calendars for staff members.
- Maintain accurate records and databases to ensure efficient data management.
- Operate office equipment such as copiers, fax machines, and phone systems to facilitate daily operations.
- Assist physiotherapist with patient removal from modalities such as Traction or Inversion tables.
Skills
- Experience with extended health insurance and WSIB billing
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
- Experience as a dental receptionist or in a similar administrative role is preferred but not required.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Familiarity with front desk operations and general office procedures is advantageous.
