Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting daily operations and ensuring efficient office management. This position requires strong communication skills, proficiency in various office software, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Duties
- Manage phone systems and handle incoming calls with professionalism and courtesy.
- Provide exceptional customer support and service to clients, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Assist with clerical tasks, including filing documents, data entry, and maintaining organized records.
- Utilize Sage 50 for basic accounting tasks, financial record-keeping and data entry.
- Perform proofreading of documents to ensure accuracy and professionalism in all communications.
- Collaborate with our millwork design team.
Experience
- Familiarity with the construction business, although not necessary would be an asset.
- Proficiency in using Sage 50, and standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Excel etc.)
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
