About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to join our team in Windsor, NS. This is a full-time, in-person position that plays an important role in supporting both administrative and accounting functions within our firm.
Key Responsibilities
· Greet and assist walk-in clients, respond to phone calls, and manage incoming emails.
· Coordinate and schedule client appointments.
· Receive, log, and securely maintain client documents (drop-in materials).
· Provide bookkeeping support, including data entry and reconciliations.
· Assist with payroll preparation and processing.
· Support preparation of personal tax returns (T1).
· Perform other administrative and accounting support tasks as needed.
Qualifications
· Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
· Previous experience in an administrative, accounting assistant, or bookkeeping role is an asset.
· Strong communication and organizational skills.
· Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information with care.
· Comfortable working with accounting and office software (training provided if necessary).
