Food Production Worker

(Part-Time)

We are currently seeking an individual to fill a part-time position in a food production facility located in the Spryfield/Herring Cove area.

This is a part-time opportunity (Sunday to Tuesday) with potential to evolve into a full-time position.

Duties and responsibilities include:
 Receiving and storing deliveries of inventory/supplies

 Assisting with all aspects of the production process

 Packaging and labelling product

 Inventory management
Skills and experience required:
 Able to take direction and follow instructions

 Able to work independently

 Able to multitask and work quickly and efficiently

 Able to lift to 50 pounds

 Class 5 driver’s license an asset

 Previous experience in food manufacturing an asset but not a requirement

 Food Safe certification an asset

 An interest in plant-based foods/food production an asset

 Wages: the first two weeks minimum wage, after 2 weeks $13.55 per hour to $15.00 per hour

 Hours: 2 days of production per week, Sundays and Mondays and possibly one Packaging day, Tuesday 20-30 hours/week

 Location: The production facility is located at 751 Herring Cove Road. Transit service is available and stops right across. If you have your own vehicle, parking is available as well.

Part-time hours: 25 per week

Salary: $12.55-$15.00 per hour
