About Adventure Alley:Adventure Alley is a 6,700-square-foot indoor play space designed for children aged 1 to 12 and their families. In the heart of Toronto, our facility boasts a multi-level playscape, dedicated toddler zones, and versatile rooms for parties, workshops, and events. Founded for families by families, we're more than just a play area, we're a community hub where imagination thrives. Through our "Play with Purpose" initiative, a portion of every visit supports local organizations dedicated to children and families.
The Role:As a Team Lead, you'll be at the forefront of guest experience, ensuring the smooth operation of our facility and providing exceptional service. You'll play a vital role in supervising our play areas, supporting our management team, and fostering a positive environment for both guests and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests and complete check-ins, delivering front-line customer service and floor supervision.
- Supervise play areas to ensure child safety and strict enforcement of facility protocols.
- Support the Assistant and General Manager in team coordination and daily operations.
- Assist with daily tasks, including party and event setup and tear down.
- Take initiative in resolving guest issues and escalate concerns appropriately to leadership.
- Perform routine check-ins, cleaning tasks, restocking, and provide ongoing guest support.
- Ensure all guest-facing and staff areas are well-stocked, clean, and ready for use.
- Monitor inventory levels of supplies and communicate ordering needs to the manager.
- Report safety incidents, facility issues, or guest feedback directly to leadership.
- Lead and support kids' activity stations, ensuring proper setup and supervision.
- Keep track of art and craft supplies; restock and organize materials as needed.
- Maintain the coffee station, ensuring it remains clean, stocked, and operational throughout the day.
- Maintain and follow all health and safety protocols
- Refill and maintain vending machines to ensure consistent product availability for guests.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a customer service or supervisory role, preferably within a family-friendly or recreational environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
- A genuine passion for working with children and families.
Must Have Qualifications:
- At least 1 year in a Team Lead role
- Strong communication, time management, and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to complete training in abuse prevention, WHMIS, AODA, and other safety modules (provided through our onboarding system)
- Available for weekends, holidays, and evening shifts

Training & Onboarding: All required certifications and training must be completed within the first month of the probationary period and are provided through Citation Canada and other affiliates. Training includes:

- COVID-19 Protocols
- Health & Safety Awareness for Supervisors
