Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Manager to lead our team and ensure the smooth operation of our restaurant. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, exceptional customer service skills, and a strong background in restaurant management. As the Restaurant Manager, you will oversee daily operations, manage staff, and maintain high standards of food quality and service.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily restaurant operations to ensure efficiency and quality service.
- Manage staff schedules, training, and performance evaluations to foster a positive work environment.
- Oversee cash handling procedures and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Maintain inventory levels and assist with food preparation as needed.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the kitchen and dining areas.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.
- Implement marketing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of cash handling procedures and POS systems.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
- Experience in supervising and managing kitchen staff effectively.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and safety standards is preferred.
