Overview
Ardent Law Group is a leading law firm practicing in all aspects of real estate law, offering comprehensive legal services to a diverse range of clients, from builders, first-time home buyers and private lenders. We are seeking a detail-oriented, motivated Real Estate Paralegal to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in real estate transactions and a passion for providing exceptional support in real estate legal matters.
Duties
- Prepare residential real estate files in their entirety including conveyancing and mortgage documents
- Correspond with clients, lenders, condo managers, law firms and other relevant parties
- Work closely with the supervising lawyer and other team members
- Prepare reports to clients, lenders and other relevant parties
Minimum Requirements:
- Experience with mortgage instructions from all lenders.
- Experience with Protocol, Conventional and title insurance closings for resale transactions, new home purchases and new condo purchases.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Two (2) year experience handling residential real estate files in Alberta.
- Experience using document preparation software such as Leap and Unity
- Paralegal/Legal Assistant Diploma from a recognized institution is an asset
Job Type: Part-time can lead to full time and Permanent
