About the role

As a Product Marketing Principal for Technology & Platform at Kinaxis, you will play a pivotal role in shaping how our platform is positioned and adopted in the market. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with deep expertise in platform-based business models, technical solution marketing, and cross-functional enablement. You will own the go-to-market strategy for platform capabilities, including architecture, extensibility, AI/ML frameworks, and integration tools, helping position Kinaxis as a platform company with a differentiated AI strategy.
Your mandate includes elevating the value proposition of our platform and AI solutions with strategic messaging, market intelligence, and innovative content that speaks to both technical and business decision makers. You'll collaborate closely with Product, Sales, Customer Success, and Partner teams to grow platform adoption and influence product roadmap priorities.
About the role:

What you will do

  • Define and execute platform and AI marketing strategies that support business goals across product-led growth, enterprise sales, and partner ecosystems.
  • Develop positioning and messaging that articulates the business and technical value of Kinaxis’ platform services (e.g., data integration, extensibility, developer tools, AI/ML models).
  • Lead the launch of new platform and AI capabilities, ensuring cohesive alignment across marketing, product management, and sales enablement.
  • Serve as the voice of the customer—translating needs from IT, developer, and platform buyer personas into compelling narratives.
  • Drive competitive intelligence related to platform strategy and architecture, and AI solutions, to inform positioning and win-loss initiatives.
  • Create strategic enablement tools such as solution briefs, pitch decks, use case content, and technical narratives.
  • Partner with demand generation and content teams to fuel awareness, consideration, and conversion through the full funnel.
  • Monitor key performance indicators related to platform adoption and influence ongoing optimization
What we are looking for
Primary Skills and Qualifications
  • 10+ years of B2B product marketing experience with 5+ years focused on platform or AIproducts, preferably within SaaS or supply chain industries.
  • Strong background in market analysis, strategic positioning, and competitive intelligence.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute high-level marketing strategies with measurable business impact.
  • Strong leadership skills, particularly in cross-functional and matrixed organizations.
  • Ability to balance strategic foresight with hands-on execution, driving meaningful outcomes.

Role-specific skills and experience
  • Proven success in marketing to technical audiences including CIOs, enterprise architects, developers, and IT operations.
  • Strong understanding of platform economics, ecosystem models, AI, and extensibility strategies.
  • Experience launching platform capabilities and influencing roadmap direction through market research and customer insights.
  • Ability to synthesize complex technical concepts into clear and differentiated messaging frameworks.
  • Adept at navigating matrixed organizations and influencing cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with sales enablement tools (e.g., Highspot), product planning tools (e.g., Aha!, JIRA), and CRM/BI platforms (e.g., Salesforce, PowerBI).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a portfolio of content that demonstrates strategic clarity and technical depth
