THE ROLE
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Power Platform Tenant Administrator to oversee the administration, governance, and optimization of our enterprise Power Platform environment. This role is critical in ensuring the platform is secure, scalable, and aligned with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
Platform Administration
- Administer all aspects of the Power Platform tenant, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Pages.
- Manage environment lifecycle: creation, updates, decommissioning, and access control.
- Configure tenant settings
Capacity & Licensing Management
- Monitor and allocate capacity across environments.
- Manage license assignments and usage, including add-on capacity
Governance & Security
- Help define, implement and enforce Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies at tenant and environment levels.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity and architecture teams to ensure compliance with IT standards.
Reporting & Optimization
- Use the CoE Starter Kit and Power Platform Admin Center to generate reports on usage, performance, and compliance.
- Provide insights to leadership on platform health and hygiene, adoption trends, and optimization opportunities.
Collaboration & Support
- Work closely with the Power Platform Centre of Excellence (CoE), IT Ops, and business units to support solution deployment.
- Provide second-line support for incidents and platform-related issues.
- Participate in intake and monitoring processes for new solutions.
QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED
Education, Certifications and Licenses
College diploma or certificate in Software Development, Computer Programming or a related field AND several years of experience in software development, support and maintenance
Experience
3–5 years in platform administration with Microsoft Power Platform.
Experience managing enterprise-scale environments and enforcing governance policies.
Proficiency in Power Platform Admin Center, CoE Starter Kit, and PowerShell scripting.
Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Azure AD, and integration with enterprise systems.
Experience with ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools.
Strong understanding of DLP policy design and enforcement.
Knowledge of federal IT compliance standards and internal audit requirements.
Microsoft certifications (e.g., PL-900, PL-200) an asset
Experience with Privileged Identity Management (PIM) for role-based access also an asset
Strong analytical and communication skills.

OTHER INFORMATION
This is a hybrid position with an assigned work location allowing the employee to work partly from a corporate office and partly from a home office in accordance with the CFMWS Flexible Work Options Policy, and with approval from the direct manager.
The selection process will be done virtually.
This position is a two-year term.
