From concept and design to getting products on shelves and online, we can support retailers, brands, and wholesalers with everything they need to get ready for retail.
We are currently looking for a People and Culture Specialist (6 Month Contract) to coordinate and assist with HR related activities and programs for our Mississauga, New York, and Los Angeles sites. In this role, you will be responsible for full-cycle recruitment, retention, employee relations, training, and other employee engagement activities. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and can manage complex projects with tight deadlines.
Reporting directly to the Director, People and Culture North America, you will further strengthen and contribute to the success of the team within IBG and its subsidiaries.
IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:
Oversee and coordinate many People and Culture programs, including Wellness Program, Recognition Program and Learning Program
Oversee the full-cycle recruitment, including job postings, interviewing, and managing all onboarding activities
Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding HR-related inquiries
Coordinate and deliver training programs through LMS
Support the administration of employee compensation and benefit programs
Assist with any HR-related projects or programs as requested by management
ABOUT YOU:
You have a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field (or equivalent experience)
CHRP/CHRL designation, or working towards completion, an asset
3 years’ experience in human resources field
Must have at least one year of recruitment experience
Knowledge of US employment standards and laws, an asset
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Proficient in HRIS and other HR-related systems
