This short certificate program provides theory and practice to help individuals seeking an entry-level administrative position in the bookkeeping field. The program is delivered 2 evenings per week for 15 weeks. Applicants to instruct a Computerized Bookkeeping Certificate program should ideally possess a blend of technical expertise, teaching skills, and industry experience.
A little about the role:
The primary workload will include instruction of the coursework in the Computerized Bookkeeping Certificate program. Courses include Introduction to Bookkeeping, Sage 50, and QuickBooks Online.

As a successful applicant you'll have:
- Post-Secondary credential in business, management or a related field combined with professional qualifications and significant bookkeeping experience.
- A deep understanding of bookkeeping software such as QuickBooks and Sage.
- A commitment to continuous learning to stay up to date with industry trends and best practices.
- Strong interpersonal skills, the ability to work in a team, comfortable using technology, and using Blackboard Learning Management System.
- Teaching experience training adults or facilitating groups in a classroom is an asset.
- Excellent presentation, communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- A commitment to student success.
Terms of Employment
Hours of Work: 6 hours per week – Full contract up to 90 hours total
Wage Rate: $55.00 per hour
