Position: National Indigenous Navigator – Term Position – Ending March 31, 2027

Employer/Organization: Indigenous Disability Canada (IDC)

Location: Victoria, British Columbia – IDC Office (in-person)

Position Type: 35 Hours / Week - $44,116 - $47,320 (Annually) - *Benefits as per BCGEU Collective Agreement

Anticipated Start Date: ASAP

The National Indigenous Navigator Position will work with Indigenous individuals and families with disabilities, across Canada, to assist in their obtainment of a variety of disability related benefits, nationally, provincially/territorially and regionally.

Benefits assisted with could include, but are not limited to: CPP-D, the Canadian Disability Benefit, the Disability Tax Credit, Registered Disability Savings Plan, Veterans benefits, Jordan’s Principle, provincial, federal and territorial disability benefits, and others.

Broad Functions of the National Indigenous Navigator

Team Work

Actively supports continuous improvement by identifying problem areas in regard to efficiency and effectiveness of Navigation service delivery to our clients;
