Mill Labourer/Lubrication Technician – 2025-076

Foran Mining Corporation (TSX:FOM) is a forward-thinking mining company redefining the industry. We are seeking a Mill Labourer/Lubrication Technician to join our growing McIlvenna Bay team. This is a full-time position based at the McIlvenna Bay site working 14/14 rotation.

Foran Mining is a modern mining development and exploration company advancing Canada's only greenfield copper project currently under construction: the McIlvenna Bay deposit in Saskatchewan. With commercial production expected in mid-2026, this world-class deposit contains copper, zinc, gold, and silver – key metals for the global transition to green energy. At Foran, we are committed to sustainable development, environmental protection, and building strong communities. We believe in empowering our people, fostering a culture of growth, and creating opportunities for meaningful careers as we build the mines of the future.

The Mill Labourer/Lubrication Technician is responsible for performing a variety of general labor tasks in a mill or industrial environment, with a focus on maintaining equipment through regular lubrication and basic mechanical upkeep. This Mill Laborer/Lube Technician role supports production efficiency by ensuring machinery is clean, well-maintained, and operating safely. Duties include greasing and oiling equipment, monitoring fluid levels, performing routine inspections, assisting with minor mechanical repairs, and maintaining cleanliness in and around the work area. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, mechanically inclined, and capable of working in physically demanding conditions.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Apply lubricants to machinery and equipment according to established preventive maintenance schedules.
  • Perform routine fluid level checks and refill as needed (oil, grease, coolant, etc.).
  • Conduct routine equipment inspections to identify leaks, wear, or maintenance needs.
  • Assist with basic mechanical repairs, part replacements, and general maintenance tasks.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area, including cleaning around machinery and removing debris.
  • Operate tools and equipment as needed, complete daily logs and report issues promptly.
  • Follow all safety protocols, including PPE use, lockout/tagout, and hazard communication.
  • Support other teams with general labor duties as required.

Job Qualifications and Skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in an industrial or mill environment preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of lubrication and mechanical systems.
  • Ability to read and follow technical instructions and safety guidelines.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, climbing, and standing for long periods.

Compensation and Benefits:

Our comprehensive benefits package includes:

  • Competitive Hourly Rate: $25.25/hr with an additional 10% annual bonus
  • 100% Employer paid Health, Dental, Vision, Life and Long-term disability Insurance
  • RSP with company match
  • Camp-based position with travel support

Foran is committed to building a skilled and diverse workforce as we move into our next phase of growth. Indigenous applicants are encouraged to self-declare when submitting applications and resumes. All qualified candidates are encouraged to apply; however, you must be legally able to work in Canada.

The McIlvenna Bay Project site is a drug and alcohol-free workplace. Due to the safety-sensitive nature of this position and the remote work environment, candidates must successfully complete a pre-employment medical assessment, which includes drug and alcohol testing, as a condition of employment.

Deadline for applications to be submitted is: August 27, 2025
