We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Helper to join our culinary team. Duties
- Assist in food preparation tasks, including chopping vegetables, preparing ingredients, and assembling dishes.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly.
- Support chefs and cooks during meal service by ensuring that all necessary supplies are readily available.
- Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Help with inventory management by restocking supplies as needed and reporting any shortages to the kitchen supervisor.
- Participate in cleaning tasks at the end of shifts, including sweeping and mopping floors.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen setting is preferred but not required; we welcome those eager to learn.
- Knowledge of Japanese food preparation techniques and basic cooking skills is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent cleaning habits and commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene in the kitchen.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while demonstrating a positive attitude.
