Front Desk Agent – Divya Sutra Hotel Vancouver
At Divya Sutra Hotel Vancouver, we pride ourselves on creating memorable guest experiences in a professional and welcoming environment. We are looking for a Front Desk Agent who shares our passion for hospitality and delivering outstanding service.As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a key role in ensuring their stay is seamless, comfortable, and enjoyable. From managing reservations and check-ins to handling inquiries and promoting our hotel services, you’ll help create a positive and lasting impression.
What You’ll Do
- Welcome and assist guests with check-ins, check-outs, and inquiries
- Answer calls, manage reservations, and confirm bookings
- Handle payments (cash, card, check) and balance daily transactions
- Audit, verify, and reconcile daily revenue documentation
- Manage room assignments, inventory, and availability
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests, concerns, and complaints
- Promote hotel amenities, services, and features
- Support smooth front desk operations while maintaining a warm, professional presence
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: Minimum 1 year as a Front Desk Agent or in a hospitality role
- Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Excellent problem-solving and multitasking skills
- Proficiency with hotel management systems/software
- Basic math and computer literacy
- Ability to stay calm and courteous under pressure
- Availability: Must be able to work all shifts (days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays)
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Must be fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking). Bilingual candidates are an asset.
