Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires excellent communication skills and a passion for hospitality, ensuring that every guest feels valued and well taken care of.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables.
- Manage reservations and maintain an organized seating chart to optimize table turnover.
- Provide menus and inform guests about daily specials or promotions.
- Answer phone calls with professionalism, assisting with reservations and inquiries.
- Collaborate with waitstaff to ensure smooth service flow and guest satisfaction.
- Monitor dining area for cleanliness and readiness, addressing any issues promptly.
- Assist in training new staff members on guest services and restaurant protocols.
- Utilize POS systems, including Micros POS, for order entry and payment processing as needed.
Requirements
- Previous experience in guest services or hospitality is preferred.
- Strong background in food service or restaurant experience is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service.
- Familiarity with phone etiquette and handling customer inquiries effectively.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A positive attitude and a commitment to providing outstanding guest experiences.
