As a Hearing Device Requirements Analyst at Sonova, you will play a key role in translating user needs into clear, actionable specifications for our innovative hearing technology. Working within the Project Management department, you will collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders in Product Management and R&D to support the development of regulated medical devices. Your ability to bridge business and technical perspectives will help shape impactful solutions that improve lives worldwide.
Responsibilities:

Collaborate with stakeholders to gain a comprehensive understanding of product requirements

Liaise with Product Managers to gather and document requirements for hearing device projects, including hardware, firmware, fitting software, mobile applications, and accessories

Coordinate with R&D departments to assess feature feasibility and resolve requirement conflicts

Translate End User Needs into clear and testable specifications using unambiguous language

Contribute to cross-functional collaboration, documentation creation, and process improvements

Perform other duties aligned with your skillset to support successful project outcomes
More about you:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field (Engineering, Science, Software)

2–5 years of experience in business analysis or requirements engineering in a technology environment

Strong analytical and prioritization skills, with excellent attention to detail

Effective communicator with excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills

Experience working in regulated environments or with regulated products is a plus
-
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); knowledge of requirements management tools such as Polarion is an asset
-
IREB CPRE-FL certification is a plus
This position requires a minimum of 3 days per week in-office attendance at our Kitchener, ON location.
A minimum of 200Mb/sec download and 10Mb/sec upload speed internet connectivity is required to support any remote/hybrid employee functionality at Sonova.
