Resolver operates as a hybrid workforce where you can choose to work at home, in the office, or a mix of both. We're looking for someone in Toronto, who would ideally be able to come hang with us in real life at least once a week!

As Resolvers Director, Product Marketing you'll be pivotal in driving our product marketing strategy, ensure our products meet the market's needs and exceed competitive offerings. You will be responsible for overseeing market research, product positioning, go-to-market strategies, and teh execution of product launches to drive demand, adoption and the overall success of the product portfolio. This role demands a keen understanding of the B2B SaaS landscape, the ability to work closely with product management to define product strategy, and the skill to communicate value propositions to the sales team and customers effectively.

Your day to day - let's break it down!:
Strategic Product Marketing Leadership (30%)
Measures of Success: Increased win-rate and improved product positioning evidenced by sales data. Completion of customer research and competitor that drives new strategic direction. Successful identification and penetration of new market segments, demonstrated by targeted marketing campaigns and increased lead generation in those segments.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive long-term product marketing strategies and plans that drive growth and elevate positioning in the market.
  • Work closely with product to define and communicate product value propositions and ensure alignment between product strategy and marketing execution.
  • Define product marketing KPIs and lead efforts to continually refine
  • Lead market segmentation and targeting efforts to identify and prioritize key markets and customer segments.
  • Drive competitive analysis and positioning to differentiate our products in the market effectively.
  • Ensure the content and collateral created both resonate with the market and also are used effectively through the sales process through process innovation and KPIs that are aligned to across sales, marketing and product marketing.
Go-to-market Execution & Sales Enablement (30%)
Measures of Success: Measurable increase in product adoption rates post-launch, with specific targets achieved for adoption within set timeframes. Enhanced sales team performance and efficiency, evidenced by shorter sales cycles and higher conversion rates from opportunity to closed won.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of go-to-market plans for new products and features, ensuring successful launches and market adoption.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop sales tools, collateral, and training materials that effectively communicate the product's value proposition to the sales team and customers.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive and impactful product activities, including but not limited to supporting content for webinars, ensuring product pages are reflect customer-focused messaging and creating collateral for key sales priorities.
  • Work closely with the sales development team, sales management, marketing ops and demand generation on maintaining and evolving target market lists of ABM campaigns
  • Develop and implement the strategy for pricing and product packaging
Market Intelligence & Insights (30%)
Measures of Success: Actionable product improvements and new features development driven by customer feedback and market trends analysis, resulting in increased customer satisfaction and retention rates. Clear impact on product strategy and innovation pipeline, guided by competitive analysis and market demand forecasting.
  • Direct market research and analysis efforts to gather insights on market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
  • Translate insights into actionable strategies and product decisions to keep the company ahead in the market.
  • Share market insights with product and engineering to inform product development and innovation.
  • Define appropriate scope and deliver on analyst relations programs
  • Make data-driven decisions to support achievement of company goals
Team Leadership & Development (20%)
Measures of Success: Measurable improvements in team productivity and performance, including project delivery times, innovation rates, and internal engagement scores. Successful recruitment, retention, and development of top talent, evidenced by reduced turnover rates and increased internal promotions within the product marketing team.
  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing product marketing team.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth within the team, building a team of high-performing product marketers
  • Collaborate with human resources to attract, retain, and develop top talent in product marketing.
What you will bring:
  • You have worked for the last 10+ years in product marketing experience with a focus within the B2B SaaS industry
  • You have a degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • You have a proven track record in executing successful product marketing strategies and launches.
  • You are well versed with marketing systems, such as salesforce, highspot and outreach, that are used to enhance product marketing results.
  • You know how to work within cross-functional teams to lead and collaborate on initiatives.
  • You are comfortable with driving change and testing new, innovative marketing approaches.
  • You have demonstrated your ability to lead high-performing teams that means you've built a positive team culture, motivated people and developed them in their career
