Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled registered Certified Dental Receptionist to join our brand new, state of the art dental practice. You will be a part of the team that makes the practice grow from the start. The ideal candidate will have a strong ethical background, high motivation, zeal to perform and will play a vital role in providing excellent patient care experience by performing the role of receptionist. This position requires a blend of clinical expertise and interpersonal skills to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow in the office. Dental Assistant experience will be an asset.
The position will be for Monday 9 am - 5 pm, Thursday 10 am -6pm, Friday 8am-4pm, and Saturday 8am-4 pm.
Duties
- Maintain accurate patient records using dental software.
- Follow up with patients on their treatment plans.
- Responsible for managing the front desk operations of our dental office, ensuring a welcoming environment for patients and efficient administrative support. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and familiarity with dental office procedures.
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow within the office.
- Scheduling recalls, dental claims submission, processing payments.
- Keep the front desk area organized and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and professional office environment.
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure high-quality patient care.
Skills
- Proficiency in dental reception techniques and practices.
- Familiarity with dental software systems, particularly Tracker.
- Knowledge of Dental Plans and experience with AR necessary.
- Strong understanding of dental terminology.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and staff.
- Excellent phone manners and patient communication
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to maintain accurate records and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

- Dental Receptionist:1 year (preferred)
