We are a commercial real estate team under RE/MAX Hallmark Commercial, specializing in the sale, leasing, and valuation of investment and user-focused properties throughout Ontario. Our business is growing, and we're looking for a sharp, motivated Commercial Real Estate Analyst to join our team and support the sourcing, evaluation, and research of commercial real estate opportunities.
Role Overview
As a Commercial Real Estate Analyst, you’ll be instrumental in helping identify properties, assess their potential, and gather critical information to guide client decisions. You will also be responsible for researching listings, reviewing zoning and land use regulations, analyzing market comparables, and summarizing insights for our team and clients. Starting hours are 10am - 2pm Monday to Friday (hours might extend in the future). Payroll is monthly on the last business day of the month.
Key Responsibilities
- Source commercial real estate listings via MLS, CoStar, LoopNet, and other platforms
- Booking appointments
- Research zoning by-laws and official plans to verify permitted uses
- Analyze comparable sales/leases to identify market trends and investment opportunities
- Compile reports and summaries to support acquisition, leasing, or disposition strategies
- Track and organize on- and off-market property leads in spreadsheets or CRM
- Assist in the preparation of client presentations and proposals
- Communicate findings clearly and proactively to team members
Qualifications
No prior commercial real estate experience required—full training will be provided. We’re looking for the right mindset over a specific resume.
- Strong research and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational habits
- Clear written and verbal communication
- Comfortable using online platforms and tools (e.g., Google Workspace, Excel)
- Self-motivated, dependable, and able to manage tasks independently
- Interest in real estate, urban development, or data analysis is a plus
- Familiarity with real estate platforms (e.g., CoStar, MLS, GeoWarehouse) is an asset, but not required
