The Courtney Room is currently seeking a Pastry Chef to assist the dinner service team. We are seeking approximately 25-40 hours per week. Reporting to the Executive Pastry Chef, the successful candidate will be available to work evening shifts, as well as weekends and holidays as required.
Kitchen Responsibilities:
- Lead by example to cultivate an honest, fun and ambitious kitchen culture.
- Support and manage prep for service; ensure all prep items and recipes are made to standard.
- Station management throughout service
- Assist monitoring the receiving of all product to ensure it meets restaurant standards.
Job Requirements:
- Ideal candidates will have 2-3 years experience with station management and full service in a fine dining environment. We are willing to train the right candidate.
- Compensation - From $20 hourly to start with upward potential for both promotion, higher compensation and bonuses based on successful ongoing employment.
- Extended Medical and dental benefits available for employees working more than 24 hours per week.
Compensation
- Hourly Rate from $20 per hour, and potentially higher based on experience.
