Job Title: Bookkeeper/Controller

Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper/Controller to manage the day-to-day accounting functions and ensure the financial health of the business. This hybrid role combines hands-on bookkeeping with higher-level financial oversight and reporting, making it ideal for a candidate with both tactical and strategic accounting experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records including general ledger, A/R, A/P, payroll, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow reporting
- Oversee payroll processing and ensure compliance with tax filings and reporting requirements
- Coordinate with CPA or external accountants for tax preparation and audits
- Analyze financial data and provide actionable insights to management
- Implement and maintain internal controls and accounting best practices
- Handle vendor relationships, invoice processing, and expense reporting
- Monitor and report on financial performance and KPIs
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5+ years of bookkeeping and/or controller-level experience
- Proficient in accounting software (QuickBooks online) and Excel
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Experience working with small to mid-sized businesses is preferred
- CPA designation a plus, but not required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
