We are seeking an experienced Azure Administrator on a 6 months contract for our Garson facility. Working within an ISO 17025 laboratory environment, you will be responsible to:
- Cloud Infrastructure Management
- Provisioning, configuring, and managing Azure Virtual Machines, storage accounts, virtual networks, and other services.
- Identifying, provisioning, configuring and managing an Azure SQL Database instances to migrate a core critical database system to the Azure space.
- Integrating new storage models on Azure to legacy systems using best practices, to maintain access for our Instrumentation software that require solder platforms.
Azure Security:
- Implementing security policies, monitoring security events, and ensuring compliance with security standards.
- Identity and Access Management:
- Managing user access, roles, and permissions within Azure Active Directory and other Azure resources.
- Monitoring the performance of Azure resources, identifying bottlenecks, and optimizing resource utilization.
- Implementing and managing backup and recovery solutions for Azure resources.
- Monitoring and optimizing Azure costs, identifying potential savings opportunities.
- Utilizing automation tools and scripting languages like PowerShell or Azure CLI to automate tasks and manage Azure resources.
- Diagnosing and resolving issues related to Azure infrastructure and applications.
- Continuously learning about new Azure services and features to improve their knowledge and skills.
Skills Required:
- Strong understanding of Azure services: Experience with core Azure services like compute, storage, networking, and security.
- Networking fundamentals: Knowledge of TCP/IP, virtual networks, and network security concepts.
- Operating systems: Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Scripting and automation: Proficiency in PowerShell or Azure CLI.
- Security best practices: Understanding of Azure security features and best practices.
- Monitoring and troubleshooting: Ability to monitor Azure resources and troubleshoot issues.
- Problem-solving and analytical skills: Ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.
