We’re a well-established, storefront travel agency in the heart of Kerrisdale, serving clients for over 30 years. As proud members of the Virtuoso network, we specialize in tailor-made vacations, family and sun holidays, cruises, and more. We're a small but experienced team passionate about travel and providing outstanding service.
We’re currently looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support our daily operations and client services. If you’re interested in the travel industry, we’d love to hear from you!
Responsibilities
- Handle day-to-day administrative tasks (email, invoicing, filing, phone calls)
- Support travel advisors with booking arrangements, documentation, and follow-ups
- Communicate professionally with clients and suppliers
- Assist with accounting-related tasks (invoicing, payments, and supplier tracking)
- Maintain organized records and accurate data entry
- Provide general office support and occasional marketing assistance
Qualifications
- Previous administrative or customer service experience (experience in travel is a plus)
- Strong computer skills – comfortable using Microsoft Office, Outlook, and learning new systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented and reliable with strong time-management abilities
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
Requirements:
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
- Availability for in-person work in Vancouver
Compensation & Perks:
- Starting pay: $19/hour
- Performance review after 3 months with potential raise
