What This Role Involves:


As the Administrative Assistant, you are the friendly face of CCS, greeting clients who attend our New Westminster Head Office and providing support to team members across the country. You will oversee our employee licensing and recognition practices, maintain inventory of office supplies, and tend to inbound and outbound mail and couriering activities. You will have an opportunity to be involved in the preparation and hosting of special events, including Board meetings and other team activities.


In addition to office administration, there are also some activities to support the success of our clients, including the preparation and distribution of monthly statements, depositing of payments, and reporting credit bureau information upon successful completion of the Debt Management Program.

What We Offer:


The starting salary range for this role is $41,210 - $45,786. Consideration will be given to previous education and experience that exceeds the requirements of the role.


In addition, we conduct an annual salary review every January, providing regular salary increases based on performance.

What We Are Looking For:


The ideal candidate will bring the following skills and qualifications:


  • High school diploma is required.
  • Office administration certificate or diploma is an asset.
  • One year of office administration experience is required for this role.
  • Strong organizational abilities, including prioritization and multi-tasking in a fast-paced office environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Able to work independently and demonstrate initiative.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in computer office applications (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), including Customer Relationship Management and database tools; minimum typing speed of 45 wpm.
  • Must be able to lift and move boxes weighing 25 lbs.
  • Availability to work on-site in our New Westminster office, working Monday – Friday, with the flexibility to work shifts between 7:30 am - 3:30 pm and 8:30 am – 4:30 pm, as needed.
