Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team. As the Accounting Clerk at Anderson Therapy Services (ATS), you will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial transactions and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of all financial records. You will work closely with the Finance Manager to maintain compliance with financial policies and support informed decision-making. Your role will help ensure ATS remains fiscally responsible
Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Perform bookkeeping tasks to maintain accurate financial records.
- Utilize QuickBooks and other accounting software for data entry and account reconciliation.
- Assist with payroll processing and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
- Prepare financial reports and assist in budget preparation.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting processes.
- Maintain organized financial documentation for audits and reviews.
- Support the finance team with writing contract quotes and various administrative tasks as needed.
- Other duties as assigned
- Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Accounting Clerk, Bookkeeper or similar role.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software (e.g., Sage, Xero).
- Strong understanding of accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Excellent data entry skills with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with payroll systems is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A degree or diploma in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
