About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Accounting Assistant to support our busy accounting department by performing a variety accounting and administrative tasks.
In this role, you will be responsible for processing high volume AP billing, importing bank and credit card activity, and responding to operations and venders timely . The ideal candidate will have a background in an accounting administrative role.

Key Responsibilities
- Data Entry & Transaction Processing: Accurately enter and process financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and expense reports.
- Accounts Payable & Vendor Management: Review and verify invoices, process vendor payments, and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Bank Reconciliation: Match and reconcile bank statements with accounting records to maintain financial accuracy.
- Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including accounts payable reports and month-end closing documents.
- Maintaining Financial Records: Update ledgers, organize supporting documentation, and manage electronic filing systems.
- Compliance & Accuracy: Ensure transactions comply with company policies and accounting standards.
- Administrative Support: Provide general support to the finance team, including filing, responding to inquiries, and assisting with audits as needed.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: At least 1+ years of experience in an accounting administrative role or similar role
- Deadline-Driven: Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines with accuracy.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to identify and correct discrepancies in financial records.
- Software Proficiency: Experience with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong Numerical & Organizational Skills: Comfortable handling large volumes of data while maintaining an organized, paperless workflow.
- Problem-Solving Ability: Proactive in identifying and resolving discrepancies in financial transactions.
