Job Summary:
The Academics Coordinator plays a central role in supporting the academic operations and growth of the institution. This position ensures effective communication with instructors, enhancement of courseware, coordination of instructor training, and participation in new program development and academic projects. The role also involves maintaining professionalism by adhering to the organization’s policies and standards, including the dress code.
Job Duties
Key Responsibilities:
Academic Communication & Support
- Monitor and respond to academic emails promptly and professionally.
- Follow up with instructors to ensure alignment with academic processes and deadlines.
- Provide timely assistance to instructors and escalate unresolved matters to the Academic Manager.
Instructor Coordination & Training
- Deliver comprehensive ongoing training for instructors.
- Create instructor guides, training modules, and professional development content.
- Support instructor performance through feedback, coaching, and knowledge-sharing.
Curriculum & Courseware Development
- Regularly review and enhance courseware to ensure quality, consistency, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and instructional designers to update or develop curriculum content.
- Integrate interactive and practical elements into course materials to improve student engagement and learning outcomes.
Program Development & Project Execution
- Support the development of new academic programs by conducting research and compiling relevant documentation.
- Assist with academic and interdepartmental projects as assigned by the Academic Manager.
- Track project progress and contribute to successful implementation.
Policy Compliance & Professionalism
- Adhere to all organizational policies, procedures, and code of conduct.
- Maintain professional appearance and comply with the organization’s dress code at all times. Uphold standards of confidentiality, integrity, and ethical conduct in all academic activities.

Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Curriculum Development, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
- 2–3 years of experience in academic administration, teaching, or instructional coordination
- Experience with developing programs and courses
- Strong business communication, organizational, and project management skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and Learning Management Systems (LMS)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced academic environment
- Professional demeanour and commitment to upholding institutional values and policies
- Proficiency in using Adobe Connect is an asset.
