Key Responsibilities:
Deliver tailored behavioral support to vulnerable youth, helping them navigate challenges and achieve personal, educational, and social goals.
Implement trauma-informed practices to foster safe, trusting relationships and promote emotional well-being.
Utilize expertise in mental health principles, conflict resolution, and verbal de-escalation techniques to manage situations effectively and empathetically.
What We're Looking For:
Proven experience working with youth from diverse cultural, socioeconomic, and experiential backgrounds.
Exceptional communication skills to engage collaboratively with youth, their families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams.
A commitment to inclusivity, empathy, and professional growth in a behavioral consulting environment.
Qualifications:
A completed degree in a relevant field, such as Child and Youth Care, Psychology, Social Work, Behavioral Science, or equivalent.
Valid NVCI certification (Non-Violent Crisis Intervention), along with current Vulnerable Sector and Child Welfare checks.
