We are hiring a Wool Grader & Lead Hand Warehouse Operator to support our wool grading operations and lead warehouse activities at our Carleton Place facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Grade raw wool by hand (training provided)
- Sort fleeces by type, quality, and preparation
- Operate hydraulic wool presses (up to 1,200 lbs per bale)
- Lead and coordinate daily warehouse operations
- Supervise and support warehouse staff
- Maintain accurate records and ensure safety compliance
Qualifications:
- Experience in agriculture, textiles, or warehouse operations preferred
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
- Team-oriented with excellent communication skills
- Forklift certification preferred
