We are looking for experienced Material Handlers to join our growing organization! As part of the shipping department, the Material Handler will utilize lift trucks and cranes to move materials around the plant floor. The driver will focus on loading and unloading material, inventory control and documentation, routine maintenance and full adherence to safety compliance regulations.
Qualified candidates will have at least two years of lift truck driving experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Current lift truck and overhead crane certification considered an asset.
Will work 12-hour shifts as part of the weekend crew (Friday to Sunday). The weekend crew works 36 hours, but is paid for 40 hours, when working their three scheduled shifts. Monthly shift rotation between 6:00 am to 6:00 pm and 6:00 pm to 6:00 am.
Hourly rate for a Material Handler starts at $21.84, with an increase to $23.28 after 6 months of employment, and an increase to $24.31 when fully trained in the role.
