As we continue to grow, we are looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented, and experienced Warehouse & Shipping/Receiving Supervisor to join our team and oversee day-to-day operations in our fast-paced food manufacturing facility.
Position Overview
The Warehouse & Shipping/Receiving Supervisor will manage all warehouse operations, ensuring smooth and compliant shipping, receiving, storage, and distribution of products. This role requires strong knowledge of food manufacturing standards, inventory management systems, quality assurance (QA), and health, safety & environment (HSE) protocols. The successful candidate will implement and enforce processes that guarantee efficiency, accuracy, and safety across all warehouse functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily warehouse, shipping, and receiving operations, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Oversee inbound and outbound logistics, coordinating with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and implement effective stock control practices, including FIFO (First In, First Out) and LIFO (Last In, First Out).
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards, CFIA regulations, QA requirements, and HSE guidelines.
- Conduct regular inspections of warehouse operations to enforce safety protocols and cleanliness standards.
- Manage warehouse documentation, including shipping manifests, bills of lading, receiving reports, and production inventory logs.
- Collaborate with production and quality teams to ensure raw materials and finished goods meet compliance standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any logistical, inventory, or operational issues.
- Optimize warehouse layout, workflow, and processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3–5 years of supervisory experience in a warehouse or logistics role within a food manufacturing plant.
- Strong knowledge of QA standards, HSE practices, and food safety regulations.
- Proficiency in inventory management systems and ERP software (experience with SAP, Oracle, or similar is an asset).
- Excellent understanding of FIFO, LIFO, and other inventory control methods.
- Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Forklift license/certification is an asset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Pay: $45,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
