Job Description
Raj Grocers Inc. is seeking a full-time warehouse worker to help with various warehouse functions including packing, picking orders and organizing the warehouse. Steady day-time hours allowing for a good work-life balance. Candidate should have a minimum of 5 years warehouse experience, with counterbalance forklift experience.
Raj Grocers Inc. is a family-run grocery distribution company that has been in business for over 30 years offering a wide range of brand name food, household and toiletry products.
Responsibilities:
- load, unload and move products by hand (up to 50 lbs weight) or with material handling equipment (i.e. electric pallet truck or forklift)
- pack and maintain inventory with first-in first-out rotation
- pick orders and assemble on skids in an efficient and accurate manner
Required Work Experience:
- at least 5 years of warehouse work experience
Skills:
- ability to multi-task and work well under time constraints
- capable of working well with others in a team environment
- attention to detail to ensure accuracy
- ability to operate an electric pallet jack and counterbalance forklift is preferred
Languages:
- must be able to speak, read and write English
Hours:
- steady daytime hours (no overnight)
- Monday to Friday 8:00am - 4:00pm
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
