We are also looking for an Operations Coordinator to join our Winnipeg team and help us continue leading in today's competitive manufacturing industry.
Job Summary:
Our Winnipeg Branch is the smallest of our (4) Branches but a growing location with lots of opportunities in the market, and we want someone who will help us with that! This person will be responsible for the overall operations of this location delivering exceptional customer service in all facets.
In your role as the Operations Coordinator, you must be able to juggle the responsibilities and priorities of running the front end and back end. The priority for this role is making sure goods are received, inventoried and shipped according to our policies. The role also does include an element of Customer Service, helping front counter Customers looking for product or picking up goods. The ability to multi-task and remain organized while carrying out these various duties is key.
Responsibilities will include:
- Perform all warehouse responsibilities, such as order picking and packing, shipping, receiving, put away, maintenance of bin locations and overall storage of merchandise and supplies.
- Perform regular cycle counts per schedule
- Oversee branch operations including office supplies, requisitions and purchases.
- Making sure the Branch is clean, organized and looking professional at ALL times.
- Respond to Customer enquiries that come primarily via phone or email. In some cases, these enquiries may be passed to the Inside Sales team.
- Greet and provide Customer Service to walk in Customers that may be looking for product information, placing or picking up orders.
- Have an understanding of our order entry process.
- Perform a variety of other assigned or occasional duties related to the Branch as required by Management.
The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- 2 years of warehouse/operations experience
- Customer service experience would be an asset.
- Knowledge of machining principles and cutting tools would be a bonus
- Good memory and organizational skills
- Strong communication skills
- Experience with inventory and/or Warehouse operations as well as the ability to lift up to 45 lbs.
- Forklift experience
