Position Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Warehouse Manager to oversee our warehouse and moving team. This role is critical in ensuring efficient inventory handling, timely project execution, and consistent alignment with company goals. The Warehouse Manager will lead a team of 4+ warehouse and logistics team members, maintain high standards in organization and safety, and play a strategic role in the daily flow of staging operations.
Role Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Lead and supervise warehouse and moving team members. Promote teamwork, efficiency, and ethical practices. Assign tasks, provide clear direction, evaluate performance, and provide real-time feedback. Collaborate with management to plan work assignments and ensure team alignment with company goals.
- Logistics Coordination: Plan and manage daily and project-based logistics alongside designers and management to schedule stages, destages, installations, incoming deliveries, and more. Ensure warehouse layouts optimize space and meet operational needs.
- Inventory Management: Maintain inventory quality and consistency using the Stageforce platform. Monitor stock levels, conduct audits, and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Safety & Quality Control: Implement and enforce operational procedures to maintain high standards of inventory handling, storage, and transportation. Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety and quality regulations, training and train staff on best practices for handling, storage, and transportation. Communicate any quality issues to the management team right away.
- Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with management team, designers, and all relevant business partners regarding logistics, inventory status, and project updates. Provide timely responses to inquiries and address any issues promptly.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of warehouse, logistics, and/or operations management experience (interior design or real estate industry is a plus)
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams and projects
- Hands-on and highly organized, with excellent time-management abilities
- Comfortable providing feedback and managing team performance
- Familiarity with inventory platforms (Stageforce or similar) is preferred
- Physically able to lift and move furniture and manage warehouse tasks (items upwards of 30+ lbs)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $25.00-$27.00 per hour
