Job Summary
We are looking for a Project Logistics Manager for our growing team! The Transportation Logistics Coordinator will play a key role in managing logistics projects. This includes coordinating shipments, scheduling, liaising with clients, and organizing service visits — all while ensuring a high standard of customer satisfaction. Fast-paced environment, Working under pressure with Tight deadlines and multiple types of software.
Responsibilities
· Research, identify and quote international logistics solutions to clients' shipping inquiries Prepare, check, coordinate and manage all aspects of shipments
· Monitor the process of shipments, track and trace Ocean, Rail, Barge, rigging and/or Truck shipments with timely follow ups to ensure services are completed as required and agreed
· Communicate efficiently with all stakeholders with the progression of shipment details and confirm verification of documentation throughout the shipping process.
Handle shipping requirements with care and commitment and accuracy. Provide additional support as required for out-of-gauge project logistics services, including providing the final invoice to the client and closing out quote and files as completed.
· Attend client site for project load-outs as/when necessary
· Assist with international freight forwarding and provide reviews for contract review, Letter of Credit, Vessel Charter, Intercom and other Logistics solutions as required.
· Communicate with customers, sales and operations team
· Provide feedback to sales and business development on areas of opportunity
· Perform all the above responsibilities in alignment with the company’s strategic objectives
Skills
- 3+ years experience in the International Freight Forwarding and Logistics Industry
· High level of experience with cargowise software
· Efficient at Multi tasking
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written for both internal working with colleagues as well as when working with clients
- Detail-oriented and highly organized with excellent time management
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- High level of experience with Excel, specifically, and other Microsoft Office software
