We are a locally-owned flooring and tile store known for quality products and personalized service. We're looking for a reliable, hands-on individual to join our team and help keep our warehouse and showroom running smoothly.
Position Summary:
The Warehouse & Showroom Assistant plays a key role in preparing and picking customer orders, creating sample display boards, organizing and maintaining showroom samples, and handling various support tasks in both the warehouse and store.
Responsibilities:
- Pick and prepare tile and flooring orders for customer pickup or delivery
- Go on deliveries sometimes to support delivery staff
- Create sample display boards and organize sample racks (training will be provided)
- Maintain and replenish showroom samples to ensure neat presentation
- Assist with inventory checks and organizing warehouse stock
- Receive, label, and store incoming shipments
- Help keep the warehouse and showroom clean and orderly
- Assist customers in the store as needed
- Perform miscellaneous tasks to support the sales and warehouse teams
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous warehouse, retail, or construction-related experience is a plus
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and be on your feet for extended periods
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Basic hand tool knowledge (for cutting and mounting samples) is helpful, training can be provided
- Forklift experience is a must
Work Hours:
Monday–Friday, 9 am - 5 pm (Some Saturdays may be required)
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.50-$19.80 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
Work Location: In person
