Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient warehouse operations, including the handling of inventory, order fulfillment, and shipping and receiving processes. This position requires a strong work ethic, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to operate heavy equipment safely.
Duties
- Load and unload products from trucks and containers efficiently and safely.
- Operate warehouse management systems to track inventory levels and manage stock.
- Assist in order fulfillment by picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment.
- Fabricate packaging materials as needed to ensure product safety during transport.
- Conduct regular inspections of warehouse equipment and report any maintenance needs.
- Manage shipping and receiving tasks, ensuring accurate documentation of incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals.
- Driving a truck to deliver goods.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory tracking.
- Proficient in load unloading techniques for various types of products.
- Ability to fabricate packaging materials as required for specific products.
- Experience operating heavy equipment safely within a warehouse setting.
- Knowledge of order fulfillment processes in a warehouse distribution environment.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Candidates with valid forklift license considered an asset.
